DUI/Drink/Drug Driving

Being charged with a traffic offence can be daunting: Will I lose my licence? Will I still be able to drive to work? What will I tell my children and colleagues?

We are here to help you, put your mind at ease and be there to guide you through the process.

If you choose to plead guilty, we can be there by your side to:

  • Plead guilty to a low or medium range drink driving charge

  • Plead guilty to driving while a relevant drug present

  • Plead guilty to unlicensed driving or driving without a licence

  • Plead guilty to driving whilst disqualified or SPER suspended

We will:

  • Meet with you and discuss your situation with you, acknowledging that sometimes, there are situations or circumstances that are unusual, stressful and perhaps out of character for you.

  • Prepare & make submissions for your sentencing hearing, taking any relevant factors into account

  • Appear for you on your court date

  • Argue for the best possible outcome in your personal circumstances

  • In court, lawyers have priority over unrepresented people. This means that your matter is dealt with more quickly in court.

  • You won't be required to say anything in court, except "guilty"

After court, we will take the time to explain the outcome and what it means for you.

eg. a fine, a conviction, a loss of licence and possible interlock conditions.

Our fees for a standard plea of guilty as detailed above are $1650 inc GST. Please contact us to confirm a fee estimate that is specific to your situation.

Work Licence

For some driving offences, you may be eligible to apply for a Restricted Licence, often referred to as a work licence. However, obtaining a work licence is not automatic.

Certain steps need to be taken to give you the best chance of success to obtain a work licence. We can help you with advice and appear for you in preparation for your work licence application.

High Range Drink Driving

High range drink driving offences are dealt with on a case by case basis. Please get in touch with us so that we can understand your circumstances and then provide you with an accurate idea of costs.

What if I'm not guilty?

We can help you with a plea of not guilty at a trial or hearing.

The first step is to meet with you and discuss your situation. We can then provide you with a costs estimate specific to your circumstances and discuss your prospects of success.
