The centre houses individuals involved in a broad range of criminal matters, including:

  • Serious violent offences (such as assault, armed robbery, homicide)
  • Sexual offences and offences requiring separate protection placement
  • Drug-related crimes including trafficking, supply and possession
  • Property crimes (burglary, fraud, theft)
  • Offenders on remand or awaiting trial as well as sentenced prisoners on parole or in low-custody regimes
